Junior Achievement's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. JA is the world's largest organization educating K-12 students about how to generate and manage wealth, create jobs and apply entrepreneurial thinking. Community volunteers deliver JA courses in the areas of economics, business concepts, finance, global marketplaces, and how to launch a business. Core compentencies they are striving for are work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
