BANZAI FINANCIAL LITERACY SOFTWARE
Banzai is a software platform designed to introduce students to adult financial situations, from budgeting and paying auto insurance to navigating taxes. The program uses lifelike simulations, which help students learn how to make hard decisions, protect their credit and even go through the home-buying process. Banzai is built for a modern classroom. No prep work, no manual grading. It's all online. The software is used by more than 40,000 teachers in all 50 U.S. states.
Banzai Junior, for elementary school students, uses real-world situations—like paying unexpected expenses, finding creative ways to earn money, and setting savings goals—to teach young children about managing their own money. Banzai Junior lets students make choices and experience the consequences of their own decisions in a safe and fun environment. It teaches students how making financial trade-offs today affects their choices in the future and shows them how borrowing money, while useful, can prevent them from attaining their goals.
Banzai Teen, for middle and high school students, has the students live the life of a recently graduated high school student, making decisions and facing the consequences. It teaches your students practical budgeting techniques—tracking income, transfers, and expenses—that they can apply in the real world.
Banzai Plus, for high school students, has students tackle more complex financial problems such as qualifying for a mortgage, building healthy credit, buying auto insurance and avoiding identity theft. Students are not only asked to command a budget but also set goals and protect their credit. Students will see how spending habits over years affect long term goals. Banzai Plus builds on the basics while introducing advanced concepts like identity theft and 401(k)s.
